Multilateral Eureka Lightweighting Call 2025 for joint R&D projects

The Eureka R&D&I funding initiative is supported by European and international lightweighting networks and serves to strengthen lightweighting in its role as a cross-sectoral enabling technology.

Key facts:

  • Call is open from 15 May to 23 October 2025
  • The following national funding bodies support the call: Austria, Belgium (Flanders & Wallonia), Chile, France, Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, South Korea, Spain and Türkiye
  • Relevant lightweighting technologies: Optimisation of lightweight design approaches, Novel lightweight materials including optimised manufacturing, Recycling of lightweight materials, Joining technology, Additive manufacturing, Digitalisation
